POST CONCERT KUDOS!!
A HUGE “ CONGRATULATIONS!” to our MATT students for their EXCELLENT PERFORMANCES tonight! I think you all played your best ever-that’s always the goal- you reached it!! You made my heart sing!
And THANK YOU to you all, for the amazing gift of gorgeous flowers ( even some favorite purple ones - along with the beautiful white roses), dinner vouchers and gift card! What a generous and wonderful surprise ! We will certainly enjoy our lovely dinner at a favorite restaurant, and will plan to use the gift card to attend a special performance this summer. Over the top wonderful!
To Yogita and Jessica for making sure all went well afterwards, and to all the parents who provided a wonderful feast for our audience, HUGE HUGS! Your bounty of lovely treats will be shared also Tuesday 4 to 6 -at the Awards Party- I hope we will be able to enjoy some swimming and warm weather, but rain or shine, warm or cold- it’s ON!!

ADVANCED CLASS NEWS : WE ARE PLAYING at the OPENING of the BRAMPTON FARMER”S MARKET 9AM TO 9:30 Saturday June 15th.
We will arrive at 8:30 am to tune and set up. Meet in front of the stage. Wear MATT t-shirts and casual attire (sunblock, hats) We will be performing on stage . Bring ALL music including Canon, and Deep River. We will play everything from June 7th concert plus these two pieces and hope it is about 30 min. long! I might bring Beethoven’s 9th and other simple stuff in case we need it! Two ensembles can play- the Merisanu’s with Matthew Daley and the Concert quartet
FINAL DIRECTIONS for FRIDAY CONCERT:
On arrival students set up music stands in concert area, then go to tune in Harmony Hall
.6:45 ALL take your correct seat in FINALE orchestra seating - for final check of chairs and stands needed.
6:55 You will be directed to start position/audience seating.
FRIDAY JUNE 7th FINALE SHOWCASE CONCERT 7 to 8:30 pm :Complete performance by all students and staff, for your family and guests, and residents of HCH. Entrance is free, but a donation hat is circulated.
WHERE ? at HOLLAND CHRISTIAN HOMES Heritage Hall, Enter at MAIN ENTRANCE sign, beside DUCA bank Arrive early to find parking.
WHEN ? STUDENT ARRIVAL /Tuning TIMES:: Advanced: 5:45 pm, Intermediates: 6 pm Beginners 6:15 pm Go to Harmony Hall immediately for tuning, then to Heritage Hall for performance.
CONCERT TIME 7 - 8:30 pm
WHAT TO BRING ? stands with name on them, music in concert order,in folders and instruments.
WHAT TO WEAR? Dress up in your MATT t shirt with dress pants/ skirt/ best shoes, to show respect for our audience
CLEAN UP help needed please! : After the concert ALL chairs must be put away and back in place. If everyone helps, it is done quickly before Refreshments.. Please help THANK YOU!
REFRESHMENTS: All parents are asked to contribute to our refreshment table. We feed the students, parents and audience light finger foods of all kinds, and cold beverages. Please let Yogita know what you will be will be bringing.
YEAR END AWARDS PARTY
The final Tuesday of MATT is a celebration for all students: the presentation of certificates and special awards, swimming, and playing. . A life guard will be hired, but each parent is required to supervise your child. It’s a chance to just have fun and celebrate the 2018/19 MATT Year! The location is Ms. Andrea’a home 5 min from the Towers- address to follow.

BINGO
Thank you to the parents who are willing to serve at BINGO. We have now received the dates for MATT volunteers. Mercy Mantey is arranging the one hour training session for our volunteers.

Registration for all will be mid August to Sept 9th. Application Forms are found in the website. Classes w begin Sept 10th. First installment and fully completed rental forms must be completed before first class.
